Over a decade ago I was at a crossroads in my life between a path of
music, or art
I chose art and this monster truck I guess is where the paths come
together as worlds collide
This is like a retarded dream come true.
I liked haze and cartoon’s car for scion ,they were really slick, but this is
dirty styles
This is from a guy who’s been driving the same mini van for 6 years
and all lemons before that.
I’m not a car dude at all I don’t know how to make it slick and cool ,
I was asked what my dream car was, and so I drew it on the back of a
greasy Wendy’s napkin I never thought they would really make it, i
still cant believe they did
i painted it up in seattle on an indian reservation in less than a
day , i was gonna take a week to do it but i unleashed on it for 10
hours straight and spent the rest of the time losing all my money at
the indian casino
it mixes early adolscent monster truck fantasies of running everyone
over, with all the graff art I’ve done for the past decade with a
custom drum set built into the back ,
In highschool I was in the marching band
I would Ride in the back of my friends beat up station wagon to the football
game beating the hell out of my bassdrum in the cab, the bass sound
echoing off the walls of buildings.
This brings it all back and ties it all together, I can’t wait to
parade down the street in this fucking truck!
