IT WAS A GREAT FUCKING NIGHT

It was the climax of a hard stressful year , that blew up in a rage on one of the warmest winter nights in N.Y.C., my girlfriend flew out, all my childhood friends showed up, all the new york fans came out in full force, the Wooster collective, theme magazine came out to support, it felt like everyone that ever showed me love and supported came out , so I just wanted to say thanks for making it a great night. my friends at jewcy.com, vice, and scion threw me a killer after party that my little brother threw together(DJ POIGNANT), TED SHRED (the dude that helped me get my first art show ever in san Francisco at upperplayground, by forcing the gallery owner to look at my work, as well as the greatest of all time mash up d.j.’s in world as well as killer axe slayer) got the party started and local hometown san jose boys , Snackmaster and the C'mish ,topped it all off while spike jonez was giving free haircuts outside, it was great night all around with new and old friends ,great music, slanged a shit load of paintings and an early flight out to viet nam thanks again everyone.

YOU CAN'T WIN THEM ALL

thanks to everyone to came out for a most triumphant show in new york, i had a great time. hope you did too.
we'll do it again someday. reaction was good and bad but mostly good, so i'll leave you with a little good.
"Fearless and talented, he's one if the most amazing contemporary artists living today. Like it or not..."
and a little bad
"i met you very briefly at the show on saturday. just a hand shake
and a congrats. i was very much looking forward to seeing your new
work as i have been a fan of it for sometime, and have always liked
reading your thought processes and interviews.

i gotta say, in person...i don't like you at all. you're definitely
a dick. and i can say this because you don't give a fuck anyway. i
was watching you around all the "art fags", the ones you keep saying
are the ultimate fuckers and couldn't give a shit about (whether they
laid down the cash, or not)---but that's bullshit, because you love
it.

you know. my old boyfriend is a very successful artist---and he was
a stalker too. and after many years of being this super dick, even
the audience got tired, and his peers as well. and he is 50 now, and
lonely as hell although he will never admit it.

i'm don't know why i am telling you this shit, because if you are
anything like him...it won't get through anyway. but you are young,
so maybe not so stupid.

humility is a good thing sometimes. it will center you when you are
about to drop off the other side of nothingness.

i look forward to your continued work."
